[align=center]Omniscient: Marauders 1977
There was a time when none of the trouble revolved around evil and darkness. Lord Voldemort wasn’t even evil, Harry wasn’t an orphan, and Draco wasn’t the hot, sneaky boy he is. Oh, no. There was an era before that. Dumbledore was young, Hermione wasn’t even thought of, Draco hadn’t begun his cunning ways, and Harry was not the one destined to be the person who ended the trouble. It had been before them that the mysteries of life, love, and hatred was brought upon them…
James Potter sat at the end of the table, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew around him. His eyes glanced toward a girl toward the center of the table. She was laughing, her eyes alive with happiness. Her friends sat beside her and she tried to forget the fact that James was basically staring at her.
Over at the next table, Gilderoy Lockhart was trying hard to impress the girls around him. He’d strike a pose just to receive some giggles. Watching him was Sybil Trewlawney. She was smart, yet couldn’t figure out what they found so attractive about a thingyy blonde. While she observed the group, Amos Diggory bragged to his friends about the Quidditch Game he’d participated in.
Rita Skeeter was holding a pen, her hand moving furiously over a pad of paper. She glanced around, listening intently to conversations around her. When she found something satisfying, she’d grin and write it down, exaggerating highly. At the opposing end of the table sat Bartimus Crouch. He was in deep thought, staring at his food.
Tom Riddle was talking with his friends, his voice superior as he asked them to be his followers. Few hesitated and most jumped at the chance to have him as their leader. He was popular, handsome, and smart. Lucius and Severus exchanged glances before nodding at Tom and assuring him that they’d help. Narcissa Black sat across the table, gazing longingly at Lucius while her sister, Bellatrix just scoffed.
None of them knew that by loving who they loved, befriending who they did and living how they were that they were causing the most evil, unwanted life in the years of their children. They are living their lives…
